Tick-vision

Recurring visions of ticks:
Small,
Medium,
and Large,
Crawling.
Barely attached,
Dug in and surrounded by infected tissue.
Grasp with tweezers
Steadily but gently
Pull,
Tug,
Wrench.
Isolate in a wet wipe.
Smash until dead
Through a single layer of paper.
Repeatedly re-check tick mortality.
Re-smash as needed.
How long does it take
Until tick-vision subsides?
