I have been writing again. If you look under Non-Fiction, Memoirs, you will find a new piece, "Growing Up a Pineo." If you like it, please leave me a comment, here. If you don't like it . . . well we don't need to talk about that, do we?
If you look in Poetry, you will find something I wrote about Easter/Ostara.
I am working on a ghost story right now. It's about 2/3 done and a bit longer than most of the pieces I produce.
I greatly appreciate learning what writing appeals to my readers, so do leave a comment to encourage me to write more.

Enjoyed your new stuff. Liked the contrast in the poem. I know the arts have become political, probably for 20 years now, but it's still new to me.

As far as the Pineo memories, I knew some of that already. I knew about the plays but I don't think you ever described one, so thank you. As far as the teasing, at least 5 years after the era you describe, you gleefully sang the gullible Jayne song, and another day Ronn and Jayne mimed the trombone (or was it a growing nose?) for me. I believe there was something about elbows too. As you know I'm also an oldest, with a bigger age gap, and I feel pretty guilty about some of the teasing I did, and yet at the same time it will still make me snicker (no I won't tell you what I did).
